More recently, as president of Ramsey Management Services, he has worked as an independent consultant to OEMs and distributors regarding operational and product development issues; represented dozens of successful sellers during the consolidation of the equipment rental distribution in the 1990s; and established himself as an expert witness for product liability and business practice and standards cases. He is also president of R&R Leasing, Inc., a company established to help seed the growth of new independent lift rental companies.
During the 1990s, Guy began publishing The Lift Leader magazine, which became a leading industry source for product information.
