EMCOR Group Acquires Southern Industrial Constructors
January 27, 2012–EMCOR Group, Inc. , Norwalk, Conn., has acquired Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc., a Raleigh, N.C.-based industrial services contractor. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1962, Southern Industrial Constructors provides industrial maintenance and construction services at process and manufacturing facilities throughout the southeastern United States. The company’s 2011 estimated revenues were approximately $90 million.
With an estimated current backlog of $36 million, Southern Industrial Constructors specializes in plant equipment installation and relocation, rigging and machinery moves, and plant maintenance.
