February 2, 2012Imperial Crane Services, Bridgeview, Ill., will soon take delivery of its multimillion-dollar purchase of Sany crawler and rough terrain cranes, five new Tadano rough terrains, and a new 600-ton Leibherr.

The company is expecting the arrival of its initial order of two 40-ton rough terrains, six 65-ton rough terrains, and a 110-ton and 220-ton crawler in February. One of the crawlers is currently scheduled for long-term work in a nuclear facility, while several of the rough terrains are committed to pending work. Because Imperial forecasts a large potential with this product line, it has an option on an additional 20 rough terrain and crawler cranes for rental or new equipment sales.

Imperial’s new crane stock order also includes five new Tadano rough terrain cranes, ranging in size from 55 to 100 tons, as well as a 600-ton Leibherr LTM 1500-8.1. The Leibherr was purchased to handle Imperial’s industrial heavy lift work throughout the country.
