June 2016 - One worker suffered a serious head injury when a crane tipped over while lifting a power pole in the backyard of a residence. The worker, harnessed in the raised bucket of a nearby truck-mounted aerial, was struck when the boom hit the truck and then caused the bucket to swing. He was taken to a local medical center for treatment. Both crane and truck-mounted aerial overturned and emergency crews had to be brought in to remove the rigs. Cal/OSHA is investigating the accident. - www.vcstar.com
