Sims Crane Names South Florida Safety Director

September 27, 2016 - Sims Crane has appointed David Wessin as south Florida safety director. Wessin, a 30-year corporate safety veteran, brings extensive experience in corporate safety, risk management, and program management to the Sims team. 

 

Wessin will be responsible for overseeing project safety for Sims’ South Florida branches located in West Palm Beach, Miami, and Fort Myers. He will work alongside Bob Berry, safety director, to maintain and improve safety practices throughout the entire organization. 

 

Before joining Sims Crane, Wessin served as vice president safety & loss control for Coastal Construction Group in Miami. He serves on the Safety and Health Committee of the National Associated General Contractors of America, and is the Founder/Chairman of the Safety Alliance for Excellence, a resource for safety and risk professionals to discuss industry issues.
