AEM Moves Forward on Crane Telematics Standard Development

May 26, 2017 - The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is moving forward with the development of a Crane Telematics standard for the industry, and the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association reports it has received an invitation to participate in its development.

SC&RA joins members from AEM and the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) working together on the standard. SC&RA has accepted AEM’s invitation and is looking forward to working on this important project impacting the crane industry.

In addition to the data fields noted in the current ISO Earth-moving Machinery Telematics Standard - 15143-3:2016, SC&RA members have an opportunity to provide additional data fields they believe should be considered. To review a current list of data fields included in ISO 15143-3:2016. Members are asked to complete this very short survey providing data fieldsm, as well as indicating your interest to participate on the committee.
