Al Faris Places Major Order for 25 Liebherr Mobile Cranes

January 17, 2018 - Al Faris is one of the largest Liebherr customers in the world and currently has around 400 Liebherr cranes in its fleet. This major order for 25 mobile cranes equates to a total value of around 18 million euros. It includes five LTM 1070-4.2, two LTM 1130-5.1, six LTM 1160-5.2 and four LRT 1090-2.1 plus eight LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain cranes.

Liebherr has added the rough-terrain cranes as a new series to its product portfolio with the 90-tonne LRT 1090-2.1 and 100-tonne LRT 1100-2.1 being unveiled for the first time in March 2017 at the Conexpo in Las Vegas. In addition to their capacity, they feature high safety standards and simple, intuitive operation. They include the VarioBase^® variable support base as standard. The LRT cranes are powerful, robust and suitable for off-road use. They have also been designed to ensure low-cost transport throughout the world.
