W.O. Grubb Adds Demag AC 500-8 All-Terrain

 

September 25, 2018 - W.O. Grubb Crane Rental, Richmond, Virginia, recently took delivery of a new Demag AC 500-8 all-terrain crane. The  eight-axle, 600-U.S.-ton capacity crane features the maximum boom-and-jib length of 478.3’ and the Demag IC-1 Plus control system designed to provide the crane’s maximum allowable lifting capacity, based on the slewing angle, for every configuration.

The Demag AC 500-8 all-terrain crane has the shortest carrier length in its class and x-pattern outriggers designed to provide on-the-job stability. The crane also comes with the Demag patented Sideways Superlift (SSL) for a superior lifting performance.
