ALL Crane Buys Eight Kobelco Lattice-Boom Crawler Cranes

January 7, 2019 - The ALL Family of Companies, one of the largest privately held crane rental companies in North America, has purchased eight new Kobelco CK-class G Series hydraulic lattice-boom crawler cranes for its rental fleet.

An authorized Kobelco dealer, ALL Crane says the purchase will boost the number of Kobelco cranes available to its rental customers and demonstrates the company’s confidence in the cranes’ value and performance.

The deal includes four new CK800G-2 units (80 U.S. tons, 200’ max boom) and two each of the new CK1100G-2 (110 U.S. tons, 200’ max boom) and CK1600G-2 (160 U.S. tons, 250’ max boom). Delivery is scheduled for spring 2019.

All units in the G Series are designed from the ground up for reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and easy transport. They have EPA-compliant, clean-running engines and energy-saving “G Mode” systems that can cut fuel consumption by up to 30%. Other G-Series features include a larger cab, LMI touchscreen, counterweight-detection device, improved counterweight self-installation, and improved shorter control levers.

“Customers love these cranes because they are efficient and easy to use, and operators love them because of the roomy cabs, intuitive technology, and enhanced safety features,” said Michael L. Liptak, president of ALL Crane. “We became a Kobelco authorized dealer last year because we believe in what their cranes bring to a jobsite. Now we’re expanding our ownership of these machines so our rental customers can experience the Kobelco difference for themselves.”

The cranes in the ALL purchase are ideal sizes and capacities for bread-and-butter jobs like road construction, bridge work, and urban construction, where maximum power in a smaller package is always welcome, according to ALL.

ALL Crane’s sales territory for Kobelco cranes covers Ohio, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh.

The new cranes will be distributed among ALL Crane rental fleets in that region.
