March 11, 2019 - Felling Trailers, Inc., Sauk Centre, Minnesota, a leading manufacturer of industrial trailers, has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center - Midwest, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

“Becoming WBENC-Certified WBE was a goal that [co-owner and vp of human resources] Bonnie Radjenovich and I set to achieve a couple of years ago, to foster continued growth for our company, said Brenda Jennissen, co-owner, CEO, and president of Felling Trailers. “In recent years, we have been asked if Felling Trailers, Inc. held this certification, as it is a piece that many of our business partners looking to diversify their supply chains are guided by.”

Jennissen added, “It is truly satisfying seeing the certification process come to completion knowing that this is another door of opportunity for the continued growth of our family business.”

WBENC’s national standard of certification, implemented by the Women’s Business Development Center – Midwest, is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and a site inspection. The certification process confirms a business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
