Select Crane Delivers Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 to Stiles

 May 12, 2020 - Select Crane Sales recently delivered a 2009 Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 to Stiles Crane Service in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The 80-ton, four-axle all terrain crane offers a maximum boom length of 164’ plus 52’ of jib, and is an ideal crane for quick use, according to Jason MacKenzie, president of Select Crane.

The LTM 1070-4.2 can travel on public roads with most of its counterweight, so it’s  immediately ready to work when it reaches a jobsite.

“As my business continues to grow we were looking to expand our fleet with a bigger crane in an effort to better support our customers hoisting needs,” said Dan Stiles, owner of Stiles Crane Service. “We ultimately chose the Liebherr LTM 1070 for its versatility and wide range of capabilities. This machine offers a strong load chart while remaining compact enough to carry its own counterweight over the road with proper permitting.”
