Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 Meets Eagle Builders' Growing Needs

June 24, 2020 – Canadian construction company Eagle Builders has added a new Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane to its fleet.

Eable Builders specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and construction of precast

concrete structures, and its subsidiary Quickline Crane does all of the heavy lifting on Eagle Builders’ projects.

With Eagle Builders’ projects becoming more complex and demanding higher lifting capacities, Quickline recently bought a 300-U.S.-ton capacity Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane to meet those demands.

Quickline chose a Liebherr crane because the company recognized the brand’s reputation for  quality. “Looking at the market projection and what we had coming up for projects, we decided now was a good time to purchase a larger crane,” said Craig Haan, director of Eagle Builders and Quickline. “We looked at many options but ultimately decided that a 300-ton mobile crane was the right choice, both for lifting capacity and for mobility within seasonal road bans. This crane checked off the requirements.”

The new LTM 1250-5.1 is the largest crane in the Quickline Crane fleet and will be used

on major Eagle Builders’ projects.

Eagle Builders have seen tremendous growth over the years. Based in Blackfalds,

Alberta, the company specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication and building of

precast concrete structures.

Recognized internationally for quality, Eagle Builders is the industry trendsetter for fostering innovation and emerging technologies. With a diverse portfolio in both the public and private markets, stakeholders procure Eagle Builders for precast developments that require proper technical expertise, stability, and resources.

As Eagle Builders turns 20, it takes pride in the service the company delivers on projects. “We stand behind every project throughout its life cycle, so we expect the same from our suppliers, trades, or service companies,” said Haan. “Therefore, service of equipment is of the utmost importance and not taken lightly.”

Eagle Builders employees 273 people, four of whom are dedicated to Quickline Crane, which now operates two Liebherr Cranes in its growing fleet.
