Public Can Watch SC&RA Jobs of Year Awards Online

July 8, 2020 - This year, for the first time, the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association is presenting its Rigging Jobs of the Year competition and Hauling Jobs of the Year competition online and giving nonmembers the opportunity to watch the presentations and see the winners named.

The Rigging Jobs of the Year competition presentations will be given Wednesday, July 8, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

SC&RA members will present their best project exemplifying safety practices, ingenuity, and specialized engineering in four categories: Under $150,000; $150,000-$750,000; $750,000-$2 million; and over $2 million. Winners will be announced online Friday, July 10.

The Hauling Jobs of the Year competition presentations will be given on Thursday, July 9, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The entries will be judged on safety practices, ingenuity, and specialized engineering in four categories: Under 160,000 lbs. net; 160,000-500,000 lbs. net; over 500,000 lbs. net; and Moving. Winners will be announced online Friday, July 10.

Winners of both competitions will be named online Friday, July 10, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
