Bigge Opens New 25-Acre Yard and Crane Maintenance Facility in Houston

Mar. 3, 20201 – Bigge Crane & Rigging has opened its new Gulf Coast facility in Houston, Texas.

The 25-acre yard at 8300 McHard Road includes a 130,000-sq.-ft. shop. Bigge says it’s the largest crane maintenance facility in the Gulf region.

Its highlights:

  • 130,000-square-foot shop

  • 12 overhead cranes, ranging from 10 to 30 tons

  • 35 high-tech workstation bays

  • 20,000 sq. ft. of sand blasting and painting space

  • 10,000 sq. ft. of newly renovated office space

Bigge invested five years finding and acquiring the site, and designing and constructing the building to provide its customers with the best equipment and service.
