Trail King Promotes Kayser to Marketing Manager

April 28, 2021 – Trail King Industries Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of trailers, has promoted Kara Kayser to marketing manager.

She succeeds Don Lura, who retired after more than 17 years with Trail King.

In her new role, Kayser is responsible for conceiving and executing marketing strategies and programs that drive the growth and expansion of the company’s products and services. She also supports overall brand development and messaging.

Kayser started with Trail King in 2017 as a marketing specialist. Over the last four years, she has had a major impact on the Mitchell, North Dakota, company’s marketing department.

She has worked to build Trail King’s digital marketing presence, positioning products to top of mind for potential customers. Her team launched a new website and actively engages customers and influencers through social media channels. “Kara has been instrumental in supporting our company’s objectives and goals. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the sales and marketing team that will further our vision as we continue to grow,” said Rick Farris, vice president of sales and marketing. 

Before joining Trail King, Kayser worked in various public relations and marketing roles, both in agency and private settings. She has worked with major brands that include Fortune 500 companies, high-growth start-ups, and local government.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Augustana University, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
