CRAC Names Danderfer as New Chair of Boom Dolly Committee

July 14, 2021 - The Crane Rental Association of Canada (CRAC) has named Mark Danderfer as the new chair of its Boom Dolly Research Committee (BDRC).

Danderfer is president of Radius Crane & Rigging Inc., Nisku, Alberta.

Danderfer began is career in the industry as a crane operator more than 20 years ago. He understands every position in a crane rental company, from maintenance, through safety, human resources, and management.

Besides serving on CRAC’s board of directors, he also is a member of the Edmonton Executives Association and a director of the Nisku Business Association.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead this committee and this initiative through the Western Provinces. A lot of work has been done by the past chair and committee members. I look forward to bringing all interested members back together as we plan for the year ahead,” said Danderfer.

The BDRC has a three-pronged approach: advocate for improvement to provincial regulations; develop best practices; and research technical solutions.

CRAC’s members are crane rental companies, manufacturers and suppliers of cranes and equipment, and suppliers of services used in the specialty crane rental business in Canada.
