Manitowoc will Unveil Six New Cranes, New Technologies at Bauma 2019

March 26, 2019 - Manitowoc will debut six new models from its Grove and Potain lines at Bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany. It will also present a technology pavilion that highlights several customer-focused innovations.

In addition to the six cranes unveiled at the show, other models on display will give visitors the chance to see a total of more than 10 new cranes.

The 32nd edition of the world's leading construction equipment trade fair takes place from April 8–14, 2019, and promises to be bigger and better than ever, with two new exhibition halls and an optimized outdoor area.

Manitowoc will present products and services that deliver excellent total cost of ownership for customers. The company will be exhibiting at stands FS 1201, FS 1202, and FS 1302/1.

“Since we became a stand-alone crane company nearly three years ago, we have bolstered our new product pipeline, developing products that our customers want to purchase,” said Barry Pennypacker, Manitowoc president and CEO. “We are confident that the bauma 2019 tradeshow will showcase our ability to incorporate the voice of the customer into our cranes utilizing the principles of The Manitowoc Way.”

Several new Potain cranes will be on the company’s stand, including those from its topless tower crane and self-erecting Hup ranges. For Grove, the company will introduce new cranes from its all-terrain and rough-terrain lines. Manitowoc will also present new technologies for the industry, with one highlight involving a recent advancement in telematics.

“Bauma 2019 will be a great opportunity for us to connect with a large number of Manitowoc customers, which will enable us to gather the information necessary to continue our strategy of adding tremendous value to our customers. The Revolution is Real!” said Pennypacker.
