Manitex Names Coffey to Board

June 8, 2022 - Manitex International Inc. has named its new chief executive officer, Michael Coffey, to its board of directors.

Named CEO in April, Coffey led the company's recent acquisition of Rabern Rentals, a key component of the company's strategic margin enhancement and growth plans.

Coffey came to Manitex with more than 25 years of experience, primarily in rentals, manufacturing, and operations management in heavy equipment, from general construction to mining, and other specialized industry niches.

He has held senior level positions including director, general manager, chief executive officer, and chief operating officer for public and private companies.

His proven track record as an operations leader includes integrating, consolidating, and managing facilities and executing mergers and acquisitions on four continents.

Manitex International's Executive Chairman David Langevin said, "We are pleased to see the commitment and vision Michael brings to us at Manitex, and the board and I are working closely with Michael and the entire Manitex team to drive further growth in the company and expand our global footprint."
