Terex Finalizes Multiple Sales at Bauma

A. Ladha of York Cranes, headquartered in Telangana, India, purchased a new Demag AC 250-5 all-terrain crane. 

April 22, 2019 – Select Crane Hire from Kent, England, finalized a deal with Terex Cranes for nine tower cranes. The building services provider selected four new Terex CTT 202-10 flat top tower cranes, unveiled the first day of Bauma, and five Terex CTL 272-18 luffing jib tower cranes.

Detlev Proschwitz, owner of Proschwitz GmbH, Trittau, Germany, also ordered two Terex CTT 202-10 flat top tower cranes.

The CTT 202-10 crane offers three chassis base options: 3.8-m (12.5’), 4.5-m (14.8’) and 6-m (19.7’). It delivers a maximum 10-tonne (11-U.S.-ton) capacity at a 24.2-m (79.4’) reach and nine jib configurations from 25 to 65 m (82’ to 213.3’). The CTL 272-18 features a 61-m (200’) maximum jib length – a 10% increase over the previous class model.

Asturias, Spain’s Grúas Roxu, invested in two new Demag AC 45 City cranes, while Hungary’s Daru Unio Plusz Kft also ordered one Demag AC 45 City crane.

With a length, width, and height of only 8.69 m (28.51’), 2.55 m (8.37’), and 3.16 m (10.37’) respectively, the AC 45 City is one of the most compact cranes of its class.

Mexico-based company ESEASA Construcciones ordered a S7 Boom Kit for its Demag CC 2800-1 crawler crane. The S7 Boom Kit increases the capacity of the crane by adding stronger segments to the boom.

Terex Cranes distributor, Trex, met with heavy load hoisting solutions provider, Transportes y Grúas Vecchiola S.A. of Copiapó, Chile, and finalized an order for a Demag AC 350-6 all-terrain crane. The AC 350-6 delivers increased power for lifting heavy loads with a rated lift capacity of 350 tonnes (400 U.S. tons), thanks to its available Superlift system.
