Jan. 12, 2023 – Empire Crane Company is now the Jekko mini crane dealer for the northeastern United States, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Empire serves the territory with facilities in North Syracuse, New York, Bridgewater, New Jersey, and Holbrook, Massachusetts, as well as with a corps of field sales experts and service technicians.

Empire Crane’s appointment is being announced jointly by Empire and JekkoUSA, Baltimore, Maryland, the exclusive U.S. importer of Jekko products.

“Empire Crane owners Luke and Paul Lonergan have committed to making Jekko a success in their fleet, as they have with a host of other crane products,” said Mike Faloney, operations manager, JekkoUSA. “We’re proud to add their more than 20 years of crane expertise to the network of Jekko dealers in the U.S., and we look forward to a long, productive relationship.”

Said Paul Lonergan, president of Empire Crane, “Empire Crane is proud to be a dealer for the industry leaders in the mini crane spectrum, Jekko USA.”

Added Dimension

The Jekko mini cranes add another dimension to Empire’s extensive range of lifting products, which includes all-terrain, rough-terrain, carry-deck, crawler, and truck cranes, as well as boom trucks, and telescopic handlers.

Jekko is the newest premium brand of lifting equipment to join Empire’s range of top-quality lifting equipment, which also includes Broderson, Kobelco, Magni, Manitex, Tadano, and Terex.

“Jekko USA cranes are a great addition to what Empire Crane can offer our steel erector and rigging companies with their compact size and great load chart,” said Jonathan Shufelt, Empire Crane sales representative.

Empire sells and supports the full range of Jekko products, from telescopic-boom mini cranes, to articulating knuckleboom cranes, and mini-picker pick-and-carry cranes.

The telescopic-boom mini cranes in Jekko’s SPX range are self propelled on rubber tracks and supported by outriggers for lifting. The range currently includes six models with maximum capacities from 1,950 lbs. to 17,600 lbs. and maximum lifting heights from 35’9” to 87’3”.

Jekko’s articulating-boom JF Series cranes also are self propelled, travel on rubber tracks, and are supported by outriggers for lifting. The range currently includes three models with maximum lifting capacities from 13,560 lbs. to 47,400 lbs. and maximum lifting heights from 83’ to 134’6”.
