Felling Trailers, Inc. concluded its 13th annual Trailer for a Cause auction with a $5,900 winning bid placed by Hoffman Haulers, LLC. The proceeds were donated in full to Ivy’s Legacy Foundation.

The auction featured a custom FT-3 drop-deck utility trailer and ran online from October 24 through November 1. The trailer was painted “Ivy Green” with black pinstriping and displayed the foundation’s emblem. Multiple suppliers sponsored components of the trailer build.

Alex and Jess Hoffman followed the auction for years before participating. “I have been aware of the trailers that Felling donates over the years and have always thought it was a cool idea for the community and for all the organizations they have helped through donations,” stated Alex. “In the back of my mind, I always thought someday if they had a green color that worked for our company (Hoffman Haulers), and if we had the means that year, we would at least bid on it, and this was the year.”

The Hoffmans plan to use the trailer to transport small equipment and materials to job sites. Following the auction, Felling Trailers owners met with Ivy’s Legacy Foundation board members to present the donation check.

“We are so honored to have been chosen as the 2025 recipient for the 2025 Trailer for a Cause. The proceeds from this one-of-a-kind trailer auction will go directly back to our community, and our board is honored to steward this contribution,” stated Nicki Vogt, founder of Ivy’s Legacy Foundation.
