Able Buys Mobile Lifts Inc., Adds it as Fifth Location

July 17, 2018 - Able Equipment Rental Inc. of NY (Able) has purchased the aerial equipment assets and service operations of Mobile Lifts Inc., Norristown, Pa.

The transaction makes the Mobile Lifts facility the newest branch of Able Equipment Rental. Able will retain most of the Mobile Lifts staff, and plans to grow the team immediately. The location is Able’s fifth location in the Northeast.

Located on two acres at 2 Liberty Avenue in Norristown, Pa., Able's newest branch is 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia and accessible by several major roads and highways. The facility is well situated to service the King of Prussia area and to deliver equipment throughout the region.

“Strategically, it will allow us to continue to serve as a reliable provider of aerial equipment for Mobile Lifts' current commercial and industrial clients," said Chris Pera, Able's chief operating officer. "Additionally, we'll be able to offer a wide range of machines for rent and for sale to fulfill their specific construction equipment requirements," Pera added.

Able’s fleet is available for daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term rentals. The company also offers financing plans for purchasers of new and used equipment.
