ACME Lift Company Announces Major Staff Additions

Steve Seiders is one of three new regional managers at ACME Lift Company.

September 20, 2006Rapid growth and an aggressive expansion plan have prompted the creation of several new key support positions at ACME Lift Co., Phoenix, Ariz. Woody Weld, president of ACME Lift, said he has added three regional manager positions and a new chief financial officer to better support ACME's growing re-rental business and planned expansion efforts.

Most notable is the addition of Steve Seiders, who previously worked for Terex Crane. He will be covering the Southeast and East Coast from Atlanta, Ga. Seiders has an extensive background with the equipment industry. Once a key part of JLG's product development, service support, and rebuild efforts, he has since worked with Falconite Crane, NES Rentals, and Terex.

Additionally, newly hired Bret Haertl will cover the Western United States out of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dave Borders, formerly of US Markets, is now in place to handle the Upper Midwest out of the Chicago, Ill., area. Jeff Heep, ACME's first regional manager who previously helped launch JLG's inaugural ServicePlus operation, will continue to cover the Southwest and Gulf Coast out of Houston, Texas.

Becky Huusfeldt has been named CFO of ACME.

ACME also has named Becky Huusfeldt as its chief financial officer. Huusfeldt has a strong background with the lift industry, working in similar positions with both UpRight International and Horizon High Reach. Most recently, she was a project manager on Wynne Systems' RentalMan software's implementation team.

ACME has been a long time user of the RentalMan system and sees Huusfeldt as an important part of its growth strategy. Weld pointed out that most of his key customers are on the RentalMan system. “Huusfeldt will be able to help us in our effort to have our systems better interface with those of our clients,” he said. “This will make it easier for our customers to do business with ACME.”
