AEM and AGC Team Up to Coordinate Constructor Expo

December 19, 2006 • The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is partnering with the Associated General Contractors of America to provide show management services to AGC's Constructor Expo in 2007.

Held in conjunction with the AGC's 88th Annual Convention, the expo will be held March 21-23, 2007, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The show is expected to attract 200 exhibitors, which will utilize 20,000 net square feet to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in construction and worksite equipment, products, and services. The Constructor Expo is held with the annual convention of AGC every year, except in CONEXPO-CON/AGG exposition years.

Under the show management agreement, AEM will be responsible for managing areas such as exhibit space sales, service, and sponsorship opportunities; lead retrieval programs; exhibitor marketing; and on-site operations. AEM also will produce a “virtual trade show” on the AGC Constructor Expo website with company information prior to the show. AGC will continue to manage registration and housing functions through its convention.

“Our goal is to continually enhance the interaction between buyers and sellers at AGC's Constructor Expo, and our management agreement with AEM will help us accomplish that,” said Rick Brown, executive director of conventions and meeting services of AGC.
