AEM Names Merit Award Winners

June 20, 2008 • The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has presented its Statistics Outstanding Merit Awards to 51 equipment manufacturing companies in recognition of their 2007 performance in AEM's statistical reporting programs, which enhances the association's ability to provide meaningful market data to members.

The association operates a statistical reporting service that provides members with market trend and benchmarking data to assist with company business planning. The AEM annual awards recognize companies who exemplify the goals of reporting timeliness, accuracy, consistency and good corporate citizenship. Companies receive points in a number of categories and earn the award with a ranking of 90 percent or better.

Eleven companies earned this recognition for their 2007 performance, including Bobcat, Doosan Infracore, Gradall, and Terex Construction America.
