AEM Selects Leaders for 2007, Honors Longtime Members

November 13, 2006 • The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has elected Dennis Eagan, group president of Industrial Power and Equipment of Blount Inc., Zebulon, N.C., as its chairman for 2007. Five new officers were named, including Glen Tellock, president of Manitowoc Crane Group, Manitowoc, Wis., who will be serving as AEM's first vice chairman, and Duane Wilder, president of Liebherr Construction Equipment Company, Newport News, Va., who will be functioning as AEM's treasurer.

 

AEM has also selected numerous vice chairman and directors. Serving as vice chairman, Construction, is Lynne Woodworth of Stone Construction Equipment Inc. The Gehl Company's William Gehl, Scott Jenkins of MTU Detroit Diesel Inc., Richard Kleine with Cummins Inc., Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company's Chuck Martz, and Glen Tellock of the Manitowoc Crane Group were among thosel elected to serve on the AEM Board of Directors.

 

Along with the new elected officials, AEM has presented “milestone member” awards to several companies within the construction industry, celebrating their industry support through longtime and continuous participation in the association.

 

Heading up this list is the Terex Corporation of Westport, Conn. for achieving 75-year AEM member status. Also honored was Load Lifter Manufacturing Ltd., Scarborough, Ontario, for 25 years of membership.
