AEM Seminar to Focus on Supply Chain Management

April 20, 2007 • The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will meet with supply chain and procurement professionals in the off-road equipment industry June 4-6, 2007, for its annual Supply Chain/Purchasing Seminar. The seminar will be held at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tenn.

The seminar will address equipment industry needs and help industry professionals better manage the increasingly complex supply chain, purchasing and procurement processes. Speakers will explore key issues such as forecasting and planning, order/demand management, sourcing, purchasing, order fulfillment, logistics and asset management.

“Every day, manufacturers leave a significant amount of money in unrealized savings on the table because of poor supply chain management processes,” said AEM's Chuck Frey. “This seminar is designed to help equipment manufacturers to adopt best practices, recoup these costs and to grow their competitive edge.”
