AEMP Calls for Fleet Masters Award Applications

September 27, 2012—The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP), along with Construction Equipment (CE) magazine, is accepting applications for the 10th annual Fleet Masters Award.

 

The 2013 award will be presented at AEMP’s Management Conference and Annual Meeting, which will be held March 17-19, 2013, in Jacksonville, Fla. Applications must be postmarked no later than Jan. 11, 2013, to be eligible.

 

The Fleet Masters Award acknowledges equipment professionals who demonstrate excellence in meeting the unique challenges inherent to delivering cost-effective and cutting-edge management of mixed fleets of on- and off-road equipment. Each year, AEMP and CE honor a fleet from both the public and private sector, during a special ceremony sponsored by AEMP’s Strategic Alliance Partners.

 

In 2012, the United States Air Forces, Europe, received the public sector Fleet Masters Award and Waste Management, Houston, took home the private sector award. Ron Erwin, chief, command vehicles for United States Air Forces, Europe, and John Meese, senior director of heavy equipment for Waste Management, accepted the Fleet Masters Awards on behalf of their teams.

 

The Fleet Masters Award is open to the entire equipment management industry; both AEMP member and non-member fleets are eligible to apply.
