The ALL Family of Companies has announced key leadership changes following the retirement of longtime team member Rick Mikut, who officially stepped down on May 30 after a 49-year career with the company.
Mikut began his journey at ALL as a teenager and spent nearly five decades contributing to the organization’s growth and operations. With his retirement, the company has promoted two familiar names with extensive experience in crane operations and project management.
Chad Rados (pictured above, left), now entering his 30th year with ALL, will step into the role of director of crawler crane operations. Rados brings a deep family history with the company, his father retired in 2022 and his brother remains an active employee. Rados began his career as an oiler at age 18 and quickly transitioned into the operator's cab at the company’s Cleveland headquarters. After a decade, he relocated to the Chicago branch, Central Contractors Service, where he worked as a site supervisor. He later returned to Cleveland and has served in multiple roles, most recently as project manager.
Replacing Rados as project manager is Brian Meek (pictured above, right), a 21-year company veteran. Meek also started as an oiler before becoming an operator. He later served as a sales representative and equipment specialist, overseeing hundreds of bridge and urban construction projects. Meek has also collaborated with Rados to develop training programs for ALL’s national sales team — courses he will now oversee in his new role.
The project manager position at ALL is responsible for training and continuing education for sales representatives and providing technical and logistical support for complex jobs across the company’s nationwide network.
Both promotions are effective immediately.
