December 13, 2006 • In an effort to maintain the most modern and technologically advanced fleet, ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. Richfield, Ohio, has contracted for 160 new hydraulic cranes to be delivered in the remainder of 2006 through 2007. The cranes range from 35- to 550-ton capacities and represent all major manufacturers, including Link-Belt, Grove, Terex, and Tadano.

According to Michael Liptak, ALL Erection & Crane Rental vice president of operations, the purchases represent just a portion of the company's equipment commitment for 2007. “We are already aggressively pursuing acquisitions of new equipment for 2008,” he added. “We expect growth in all equipment categories to be strong.”

Just last month, ALL Erection & Crane added 120 aerial work platforms to its fleet in another equipment acquisition. The AWPs will have a similar delivery schedule to the incoming cranes.
