April 9, 2015 - As part of a continued commitment to providing the best equipment to customers, the ALL Family of Companies announced the purchase of a nine (9)-crane Terex package, designed to answer the call for increased bridge construction and other related construction work ramping up across the Midwest.

The package of Terex cranes includes two 140-ton capacity Explorer 5500, a new all-terrain model introduced last fall and the most compact AT Terex has produced. With a carrier length of only 36 ft., it is the shortest five-axle crane available. Also included in the package were Bridge Builder specials—two 110-ton capacity HC 110 and two 165-ton HC 165 crawler cranes. Both models are equipped with heavy boom and pin-on third drum. Two  120-ton AC100/4L four-axle AT cranes and one 60-ton T560 hydraulic truck crane, with excellent highway speed capabilities, completed the Terex acquisition.

The bulk of the machines will be based at the company’s Cleveland headquarters to be utilized for bridgework throughout Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and other surrounding states. The truck crane will work out of the company’s Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental branch in Wisconsin. All units are available for sale or rent.

“Terex is doing some really amazing things,” said Mike Garrity, director of new crane sales. “We’re excited about the drivability of the Explorer series, but also love that the units’ upper and lower assemblies are powered by a single engine. This innovation reduces operating costs by reducing weight, fuel, and redundancy of operating systems.”

Garrity further explained that the ALL Family of Companies is a tier-one Terex dealer in five states, including Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin. “As a rental and sales leader, we love to expose customers to the brands for which we are a dealer—there’s no better advertising.”

“This entire package is made up of city-friendly machines that are compact and easily transported,” said Garrity. “These units are excellent for construction, particularly in bridge repair, disassembly, and rebuild projects.”
