February 18, 2015 - The ALL Family of Companies has closed the deal on two 450-ton Tadano ATF 400G-6 hydraulic all-terrain cranes, just one month after adding 15 Tadano GR-550XL hydraulic rough-terrain cranes to their national fleet. The investment in 17 new Tadano machines within 60 days is part of ALL’s commitment to maintaining the industry’s broadest and most modern fleet.

With a 450-ton lifting capacity, the ATF 400G-6 is the manufacturer’s largest-capacity AT, and has a max lift height of 402 ft. Its 198.6-ft. boom is able to lift loads that might normally require the use of a suspension system.

The 55-ton capacity GR-550XL RT features a full-power, four-section, synchronized 35.1 ft.–113.9 ft. telescoping boom. These maneuverable mid-range RTs, which are especially good for daily rentals and city work, will be popular all over ALL’s 37-branch network. “Tadano makes extremely reliable equipment that our customers trust,” said Michael Liptak, ALL Family president. “These new mid- and large-capacity cranes will be very busy immediately upon their arrival.”

Liptak added that falling fuel prices are affecting the crane business in more ways than the reduction in travel expenses. “We are expecting to see lots of infrastructure projects like bridges, road work, and commercial construction that the 450-ton Tadano AT can easily get after. Lots of long-planned-for, though stalled, projects are finding their funding,” he said. The 17 Tadano cranes will be delivered throughout 2015. The two ATFs will be based at ALL’s Chicago and Canadian branches.

Ron Dogotch, VP of sales for Tadano, said it is a privilege to work with ALL “as we continue to expand our relationship and provide Tadano's quality line of rough terrain and all terrain crane products for their rental fleet requirements."
