ALL Technicians Complete Manitowoc EPIC AOM Course
September 8, 2010 – Thirteen field service technicians from the ALL Family of Companies successfully completed the week-long Electronically Processed Independent Controls (EPIC) Assembly, Operation & Maintenance (AOM) course sponsored by Manitowoc Crane CARE and held at ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, this summer.
EPIC AOM is a four-day course on the analysis of information contained in the setup and operation chapters of the crane manual for Manitowoc lattice-boom crawler-crane models 777, 999, and 2250. The prerequisite for the course is 5 years of crane experience. EPIC AOM covers safe assembly procedures, layout and functional properties of all cab controls, boom rigging and assembly, proper configuration of RCI/RCL based on load chart specifications, pre-operational checks, daily maintenance and calibrations, and diagnostics screens.
Michael Liptak, president of ALL, said that rigorous technician training programs such as this one surpass any industry requirement and demonstrate ALL’s commitment to investing in ongoing education for its employees.
