Alps Wire Rope Names New National Sales Manager

February 23, 2007 • Alps Wire Rope Corporation, a full-line provider of carbon and stainless steel wire ropes, has named Rick Coughran as its new national sales manager.

 

Coughran had covered the West Texas oilfield market for Alps since 2002.  Now, he will work with the entire sales force to support sales of carbon and stainless steel rope in the oilfield, mining, industrial, construction and marine markets. Coughran brings a wealth of knowledge from nearly three decades in the business. 

 

In the recent past, Alps has added four new salespeople to its staff. Bill Lee started covering the Gulf Coast region in September 2006, and Cliff Nickel has been covering the South East Region since November 2006. Bob Johnson will be covering the Midwest, and Statz Croucher was also added to the staff to take over the Ohio Valley sales territory.
