Alps Names Eastern Region Manager

November 2, 2010 — Alps Wire Rope Corp., Chicago, Ill., has appointed Jeff Marterella eastern region manager and director of crane rope sales.

Marterella joins Alps with 30 years of experience both on the manufacturing and sales support side in the wire rope industry.  He has extensive knowledge of the specialty crane rope products and the U.S. marketplace, and a thorough understanding of general purpose and elevator ropes, according to Alps.
