Alps Wire Rope Adds, Promotes Staff

December 23, 2014 - Last week, Alps Wire Rope Corp. announced it has made a number of additions and promotions within its company. 

 

Jim Miner has been appointed regional manager for the north central and Midwest areas. Miner has six years of wire rope experience at Alps. He was previously vice president of sales and marketing at Wells Electronics for 12 years.

Greg Smith has joined the company as territory sales manager for the north central territory. Smith was recenlty employed by WireCo World Group and has more than 17 years of experience in the wire rope industry.

 

Dan Warren recently started at Alps as buyer at the corporate headquarters. New to the wire rope industry, Warren has more than 10 years of purchasing experience. 

 

 

Gregg Lakin was hired last month as warehouse manager in St. Charles, Ill. Laken is also new to the wire rope industry and worked at Aptar as an inventory analyst for over a year and worked previously at Prinova as the warehouse manager for 10 years.
