Altec to Showcase AC65E Boom Truck Crane at ConExpo 2026
(Sponsored Content) — Altec is proud to announce that the AC65E-155S telescopic boom truck crane will make its return as a displayed piece of Altec equipment at booth F44042 at ConExpo 2026. Debuted to the construction market at the last ConExpo, the AC65E is Altec’s largest and most capable dual-rated crane.
The AC65E is the only machine in its class under 40 feet in length and can be configured to comply with federal bridge laws, meaning it can travel without any permits. As with all Altec products, the AC65E is backed by the industry’s leading national support network and warranty protection.

In addition, the AC65E is equipped with features that enable this machine to have both class-leading material handling capacity as well as personnel lifting capabilities that rival most non-insulating aerial devices on the market today. As a material hoisting device, this machine features a maximum capacity of 130,000 pounds and is equipped with a six-section main boom with 155 feet of maximum extended length. As an A92.2 aerial device, the AC65E features a 1,200 pound-capacity two-person platform, a maximum working height of 216 feet and an available side reach of up to 110 feet.
A two-stage hydraulic articulating jib brings boom truck operator features that are typically reserved for larger cranes. Previously found exclusively on machines much larger than the AC65E, this jib allows for exceptional up and over lifting capabilities without sacrificing minimum pick radius. The jib can be articulated from 0 degrees to -80 degrees with rated load on hook. The main boom features two selectable extension modes to maximize capacity both close to the machine and at larger radiuses.
For the first time at ConExpo, Altec will also exhibit Altec Teupen equipment. The industry-leading solution for small set-up areas, Altec Teupen products are able to traverse steep grades and rough terrain. Each machine is built with unparalleled safety and reliability and backed by Altec’s nationwide service network.

Altec will display the Altec Teupen TL127AJplus, a spider lift that features a 127-foot articulating and telescopic boom and an 882-pound platform capacity. This unit offers rapid point to point access for the most difficult to reach applications. Additionally, the Altec Teupen TC89AJplus will be displayed. This spider lift represents the next generation of standard features for future Altec Teupen models. It features an 89-foot articulating and telescopic boom with a newly designed high performance boom system that provides smooth boom operation and stability aloft.
In addition to the AC65E and Altec Teupen units, Altec’s HD35A-12 pressure digger, AT41M articulating telescopic aerial device, MudDog Hydrovac 1200 Vacuum Excavator and CB5-132D-S mechanic’s truck will also be displayed at ConExpo.
