Altec Expands Plant in Virginia

June 24, 2014 - According to the Roanoke Times, Altec Industries will be adding about 200 jobs at its facility in Virginia. The company began a $3.9 million expansion at the Betetourt County plant in January.

 

In the article, the Virginia Jobs Investment Program has reportedly committed about $152,000 to support Altec create 203 full-time jobs. The company will be adding assemblers, welders, and other production workers, as well as engineers and other professionals at the facility.
