AmQuip Hires National Crawler Crane Division Manager

October 9, 2008 • Bensalem, Pa.-based AmQuip Crane Rental has announced that Guy Erwin has been appointed as national crawler crane manager. Erwin will be responsible for managing all aspects of the national crawler crane division, including safety, customer relations, key account management, fleet mix and logistics. He will oversee the daily operations of the crawler business to provide AmQuip customers with safe and cost-effective products and complete “turnkey” lifting solutions.  

Erwin was most recently the regional sales manager for Essex Crane for the Eastern part of the U.S.  He has been around the crane rental industry his entire life, and joins AmQuip with more than 10 years of industry specific experience. He began his career working with Carlisle Crane Rental and then Maxim Crane while working his way through school.

Erwin will be based in Orlando, Fla. AmQuip intends to increase its presence in the southeastern U.S. and further extend its coverage along the East Coast with the establishment of its new Orlando office.
