April 2, 2014 - Amquip Corp. has reportedly purchased the tallest crane at ConExpo: the Terex Superlift 3800. Amquip purchased the 715-ton crawler crane with all available options, including a luffing jib and mobile counterweight wagon.

Al Bove, COO of AmQuip, said: “We organized our team of crawler experts, fleet managers, and project principles to review all of the cranes available in this class. After a lengthy and well-thought- through process, our team unanimously decided that the 3800 was overall the 'Best Crane Offered in this Class.'"

In addition to the Superlift 3800 order, Amquip also signed an order for 24 RT 555-1 rough-terrain cranes at ConExpo. The 55-U.S. ton RTs were ordered as a result of increased demand and will be used on several projects across the United States.
