AmQuip Orders Four Liebherr Crawler Cranes

 January 5, 2016 - AmQuip Crane Rental LLC, Trevose, Pa., has placed  an  order for four Liebherr LR 1500 crawler cranes from Liebherr  Cranes, Inc., which is Liebherr-Werk Ehingen’s operating division in the United  States.

 

 This is the first order from a U.S. customer for the newly-developed  crawler crane, which delivers load capacities in the 500-ton crawler crane class throughout its complete operating range, while having the dimensions and component weights typical of cranes in the 400-ton class.

 

 

The deliveries of the AmQuip machines will begin in the spring of 2017 with the first unit to be displayed at the Liebherr stand at ConExpo 2017. The remaining units will follow throughout 2017 into 2018. The machines will be the largest Liebherr crawler cranes in AmQuip’s fleet.
