APEM Adds Actuators, LED Indicators for Controls

June 29, 2016 - APEM’s environmentally sealed MT Series toggle switch is now available with two new actuator styles. The winged- and paddle-styled actuators are offered in standard black 6/6 nylon or a thermoplastic elastomer soft touch coating, which gives the MT Series as sleek look and feel.

APEM's MT Series is available in two or three positions in momentary and maintained functions. It has a single pole, double throw configuration and an 11/16 threaded bushing and multiple electrical functions. The MT Series switches are rated for 3 Amps at 250VAC or 6Amps at 125VAC with an expected mechanical life of 100,000 cycles. The switches are manufactured with silver, gold-plated silver, or gold-plated brass contacts and with straight p.c. or solder lug terminals.

The MT Series is recommended for applications requiring a sealed, ergonomic electrical interface. Applications for the MT are found in a number of markets including; marine, off-road, transportation, military, medical equipment, and security.

 

APEM also has added to the Q Series of LED indicators. The 22mm Q Series indicators now includes red, green, yellow and blue flush-mounted anodized bezels. The Q Series range also has a low profile and is lightweight, features super bright LEDs including standard blue, white, bi-color and tri-color options, and customized engraving is available, or customers can select from a wide range of existing symbols. It is available in all voltage ranges, can be fixed light or flashing light (only up to 28VDC), has a front panel sealed to IP67, and is available with all types of connection including 200mm, 22AWG (UL1007) wires.
