Arnco Launches Tree-Planting Program
November 24, 2008 – South Gate, Calif.-based Arnco, a leading supplier of polyurethane fill for off-road vehicles, has announced a partnership with American Forests in creating its green program “One Tote, One Tree.†This follows the introduction of its new ecofil flatproofing material, which consumes 50 percent less petrochemicals by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process.
The announcement was made by Larry Carapellotti, company president, who said Arnco has committed to planting one tree for each tote of Arnco products that is sold. “Through this partnership Arnco will plant a minimum of 15,000 new trees annually and will donate to the research that is paramount to understanding the sustainability of our environment,†he said.
