Association of Equipment Management Professionals Opens New Website

August 11, 2006 • Association of Equipment Management Professionals, Glenwood Springs, Colo., has announced the launch of a new website designed to be a resource center for AEMP members and those involved in fleet asset management. Designed by McFayden & Associates, the new AEMP site features a "Knowledge Center" that provides information and education on sixteen areas of fleet management.

While the Knowledge Center is the core of the new AEMP website, there are many other features accessible to those in the equipment management industry. An example of this is the "Employee/Recruiter" component of the site, which enables those searching for fleet managers to review resumes of AEMP members.

Planned and developed for almost a year, the primary goal of the new AEMP website is to bring viable information to the work places and homes of those engaged in the fleet management profession. "Fleet management professionals are increasingly driven to master diverse new skills and technology as the work place and equipment evolves. We feel it our responsibility to provide them with relevant, cutting-edge and easily accessed information 24/7," said Marilyn Rawlings, certified equipment manager, president of AEMP.

In addition, AEMP will be using the website to provide educational opportunities via on-line learning programs. "AEMP is the number one source for off-road fleet management education, and the new website will allow us to be even more proactive in terms of delivering critical and relevant knowledge to our members on an on-going basis," said Stan Orr, executive director of AEMP.

You can visit the new site at http://www.aemp.org.
