Axiomatic's new valve controller is rugged for harsh environments.

February 23, 2009 – Axiomatic Technologies, Mississauga, Ontario, has introduced its new Dual Output CAN Valve Controller, 1 Universal Input to 2-3A Outputs with CAN (SAE J1939) with Electronic Assistant. It is the company’s latest addition to a growing line of compact rugged valve controllers packaged for harsh operating environments.

The multi-purpose valve controller is designed to control two proportional or on/off solenoid valves, with the ability to accept a voltage, current, resistive, digital, frequency or PWM input. The valve controller offers the end user a high value/cost ratio. With superior processing technology, the AX022000 controller is an economical solution to meet the complex control requirements in today’s off-highway equipment. This small device is a useful extension on a wide variety of machine applications.

Electronic Assistant (EA) together with an Axiomatic USB-CAN converter links the PC to the CANbus for user configuration. Flexible user programming allows for application-specific control logic via the CAN-based Electronic Assistant. The controller’s internal functional blocks for inputs, outputs and signal conversion or hydraulic control can be mapped to a control structure that suits the application. The EA runs on any modern PC with the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system or higher.

Axiomatic is a provider of electronic machine controls, components, and systems to the off-highway, military, power generation, material handling and industrial OEM markets.
