October 24, 2006 • Beta Max, Inc., Melbourne, Fla., has unveiled its new Max Climber™ 3300 Transport Platform Hoist System. The Max Climber 3300TP features heavy-duty galvanized components and a payload capacity of up to 3,300 pounds.

A dedicated operator is not required to the run the Max Climber 3300TP, which keeps operation costs down. The system can be anchored to a building or scaffolding using tube and clamp tie-ins at 20-foot intervals. In addition, an onboard jib and hoist simplify mast installation. The Max Climber 3300TP offers a 13.5'x5' material platform for lifting general building materials.

Safety features on the Max Climber 3300TP including upper and lower limit switches and an emergency overspeed brake. The machine also has a ramp with side fencing for safe access while loading and unloading above ground level, as well as an interlocking ground enclosure to keep workers out of the hoistway while the unit is being operated.

Heavy gauge aluminum on the loading ramp, a rugged platform floor, and galvanized mast and base system components protect the machine and ensure a long life. When it comes to maintenance, the Mast Climber 3300TP includes an easy-to-access electrical panel and user-friendly drop test operation. All Beta Max Hoist Systems meet or exceed UL, CSA, and OSHA specifications.
