Big Names Sign Up for First International Rental Expo

April 1, 2008 • More than 80 companies have confirmed their participation in the first International Rental Exhibition (IRE), to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on June 3-5, 2008. Terex, JCB, Manitou, and Doosan Infracore/Bobcat, among others will be among exhibitors at the exhibition. JCB, one of the world's biggest construction equipment manufacturers, is one of the latest companies to sign up for the show, joining other companies including Genie, Haulotte, and JLG.

The exhibition is supported by the European Rental Association (ERA), which will hold its annual convention during the three days of the show. The association is organizing a wide range of seminars, workshops and expert speakers throughout the three days.

Rental consultant Dan Kaplan will give the keynote address at the European Rental Association's annual convention. Kaplan, who is a past president of Hertz Equipment Rental, will be able to talk with authority on the current North American rental scene and on the development of rental worldwide, including Europe.

The keynote address will be just one element of a three-day program of seminars and workshops that will take place during the show. The program also includes the first ever European Rental Awards, to be presented at ERA's formal dinner on the evening of June 4.

Those interested can register to attend the convention online at www.erarental.org. To attend the convention, attendees must also register for the exhibition, which can be done at www.IREshow.com.
