Bill Smith Joins TurnKey as Vice President of Risk Mitigation
May 15, 2006 — According to a recent edition of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) newsletter, Bill Smith has joined TurnKey Specialty Insurance Services, Inc., as vice president of risk mitigation reporting to Tim Conlon.
With more than 25 years of experience in the crane, rigging, and construction industry, Smith will be responsible for loss control and risk mitigation strategies. Prior to joining TurnKey, he worked in various roles at the U.S. Department of Labor, Maxim Crane Works, and the International Union of Operating Engineers. He will be based in
TurnKey Specialty Insurance Services, a program management company focused on insurance products and services for members of the construction industry, was recently formed following the recent merger of NBIS with Special Risk Services Group (SRS).
