Bragg Crane takes three Liebherr crawlers at Bauma. |
April 18, 2016 - Scott Bragg, president and CEO of California-based Bragg Crane Service, participated in the handover of two Liebherr Model LR 1750/2 and one LR 1600/2 cranes at Bauma. The new cranes will be delivered to the U.S.A. between June and August.
As with the “H boom kit’ for the LR 1600/2, the strengthened main boom, and derrick boom of the LR 1750/2 have been given the suffix ‘H’ (Heavy). The powerful boom systems increase the lifting capacity in some areas by up to 30% over the LR 1750, according to the manufacturer. The crane also features a hydraulic drive unit on the ballast wagon and improved platforms and access points.
“The technical specifications of the cranes meet the demanding requirements of our markets,” said Scott Bragg. “We are looking forward to continuing Bragg’s long lasting relationship with Liebherr.” Bragg Crane Service, headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., operates seven locations in California and one each in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas.
