Bridon American Announces Personnel Changes

May 12, 2006 — Bridon American Corp., Wilkes-Barre, Pa., announced John Churchfield has succeeded Bill Golla as president of the company. Golla, who has worked for Bridon American in senior management positions for the last 32 years, is preparing to retire at the end of 2006.

Prior to retirement, Golla will move into the vice president of senior projects position, working with Churchfield on developing plans to further expand Bridon's American operations and build upon the success achieved by the company over the last few years.

As part of his new role, Churchfield will continue to oversee the Bridon Group's approach to the deployment of lean thinking. The lean initiative will ensure Bridon continues to challenge and improve the service it provides worldwide.

Bridon American also recently appointed Dave Henninger to the position of wire rope engineer. In his new role, Henninger will report directly to Dave Sleightholm, technical director, and will be involved in wire manufacturing and wire rope engineering.

Prior to joining Bridon American, Henninger was the engineering manager for Arcos Alloys, a manufacturer of stainless and alloy welding wire in Mt. Carmel, Pa. Prior to Arcos, he was with Paulsen Wire Rope for almost 14 years.
